The extraordinary contribution
The extraordinary contribution in an economic aid, addressed to students in a situation of distress due to serious events affecting their family unit (e.g. economic problems, health issues, bereavement in the family), thus compromising the prosecution of their academic career, (check the “Sistema di valutazione degli interventi straordinari per studenti in situazione di particolare disagio a causa di gravi motivi” approved by EDISU’s Board of Administration).
Who can apply
1) Students enrolled in a sucessive year or a first year of Mater’s degree in a.y. 2023/24, who won the 2022/23 scholarship, but did not apply for 2023/24 scholarship because of the extraordinary event;
2) Students who, by the deadline for the presentation of the 2023/24 scholarship application, met the merit requirements for the scholarship but did not meet the financial requirements and who, following a reduction in income of more than 25% or more than 20% in terms of assets (movable and/or immovable property), which can be identified by the issue of the ISEE Corrente, or the reduction of family members following a death, have an ISEE/ISPE value which falls within the limits set for the 2023-24 academic year scholarship.
For students listed at paragraph 1, the event must have occurred between 01/12/2022 and 10/08/2023;
for students listed at paragraph 2 the event must have occurred between 01/10/2023 and 31/01/2024
Edisu provides the contribution, in order of priority to:
- students who won the 2022/23 scholarship, but did not apply for the 2023/24 scholarship because of the extraordinary event;
- students who by the deadline for submitting the 2023/24 scholarship application were in possession of the merit requirements but did not meet the financial requirements and currently, following a reduction in income of more than 25% or more than 20% in terms of assets (movable and/or immovable property), which can be identified by the issue of the ISEE Corrente, or the reduction of family members following a death, have an ISEE/ISPE value which falls within the limits set for the 2023-2024 academic year scholarship.

How to apply
From 2 Aplril 2024 you can submit the application to Edisu student office.

Students who need more information about the extraordinary contribution and who need help to fill the form can open a ticket to be contacted directly from the office in charge (remember to communicate your phone number).
Privacy information
It is necessary to read and accept the information to the new regulation on the processing of personal data (GDPR) by delivering a signed copy for viewing together with the application form (Article 9 of the Notice).
Deadlines
The application deadline is on 30 April 2024.
Results
EDISU will inform students about the outcome after 30 days from the application deadline.
Payments
EDISU will disburse the payment after 30 days from the communication of the outcome.
Information on the treatment of personal data
Personal information provided by filling in the application for the payment of the extraordinary contribution, attached to it in the form of a document or otherwise communicated by the Student, will be processed exclusively for the execution of the obligations related to the request (compilation of rankings, payment of the contribution, ect.), in order to conduct the check on the truthfulness of the particular and serious uneasy situation declared.
