Starting February 13, 2026, turnstiles will be installed at the entrance to the Michelangelo Study Room to regulate student entry and exit. Seat reservations, as described below, can be made starting February 12, 2026.
Access to the Michelangelo Study Room, as in the past, must be booked using the Campus Piemonte ID Study Room app, specifying the day, start, and end times. Additionally, starting February 12, 2026, a seat must also be reserved from those available; the app has been updated specifically to allow each student to reserve a specific seat at a specific table within the study room.
The QR code generated by the reservation must be scanned by the student at the turnstile reader upon entry to validate access, and upon exit to activate the turnstile. This QR code will be valid for the entire duration of the reservation.
A sticker with the student's reference number and a QR code will be placed on each seat in the study room. The student must scan this QR code to confirm their arrival at the seat selected during the reservation.
Exit from the study room must be made only through the turnstiles at the entrance. Using the emergency exits outside of genuine emergencies is strictly prohibited. In the event of a temporary exit from the study room (for example, for lunch), the system will allow a break no longer than thirty minutes. Once the thirty-minute period has elapsed, the system will automatically consider the exit definitive and the student will not be allowed to re-enter the study room.
Once the reserved period has expired, students must immediately vacate their seat to the student who has booked for the next period and will have thirty minutes to leave the study room. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the application of the sanctions provided for in the Regulations.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE NEW BOOKING METHOD ARE IN PLACE TO GUARANTEE NOT ONLY THE SAFETY OF ALL USERS OF THE MICHELANGELO STUDIO ROOM BUT ALSO THE CORRECT USE OF IT, SO AS NOT TO COMPROMISE THE IDENTICAL RIGHT OF USE BY OTHER RIGHTED PARTIES.

- ACCESS TO THE STUDY ROOM USING THE NEW RESERVATION METHOD WILL BE EFFECTIVE STARTING FEBRUARY 13, 2026.
- TO RESERVE, AS IN THE PAST, THE CAMPUS PIEMONTE STUDY ROOM APP MUST BE USED.
- BOTH TO ENTER AND EXIT THE STUDY ROOM, THE QR CODE MUST BE SCANNED BY THE READERS ON THE TURNSTILES.
- TEMPORARY EXITS FROM THE STUDY ROOM (FOR EXAMPLE, FOR LUNCH BREAK) MAY NOT LAST MORE THAN THIRTY MINUTES. IF THE BOOKING IS LONGER THAN THIS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RE-ENTER THE STUDY ROOM AS THE RESERVATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CANCELED.
- THE QR CODE MUST BE SCANNED EACH TIME YOU ENTER OR EXIT THE STUDY ROOM.
