The university textbook loan service allows students to borrow textbooks free of charge for exams or further study. The service is designed to facilitate access to the teaching materials needed during your university career.
Recipients
The service is intended for all the regularly enrolled university students. International students in the area can also use the service. This is particularly useful for those who do not have easy or economic access to textbooks.
Venues, times and booking method
University textbook loan service takes place in Turin in the reception area of the Michelangelo Buonarroti study room, where an operator will take care of the loan and return operations.

Reserving books
You can reserve a book at any time using the Campus Piemonte ID STUDYROOM app (already available to book seats in study rooms) and pick it up in the study room chosen during reservation.

Once you have logged in to the app, click on the “Prestito Libri” (“Book Lending”) button, and you will then be taken to a portal where you need to choose the “Prestito Libri” option again.
You will access the dedicated portal where you will be able to choose texts according to availability and the location where you can pick up your chosen text.

Loans last 40 days and can be renewed for another 30, for a maximum of 70 total days.
Books must be returned to the same study room from which they were borrowed.
The catalogue
This includes university textbooks in the medical-scientific area and, with the addition of the “International Library” section, fiction books in 13 different languages.
The catalogue is also constantly being updated and will be enriched with new titles over time, including books suggested by students through the surveys that EDISU launches on its social channels.
The available titles can always be consulted with the CAMPUS PIEMONTE ID STUDYROOM app.
