About it

This is a listening and help desk aimed at students guest of residences of EDISU Piemonte who need support in dealing with individual and relationship problems that have arisen during their stay. 

The service is provided through a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychotherapists and specialists in the anthropological and social fields. For social and practical issues, we also rely on the support of the local service network.

Access is free and totally private. The Service is delivered both in-person and online, in Italian and English.Issues for which to request the “ResidenzAscolta” (Residence-Listening) service

Issues for which to request the ResidenzAscolta service:

  • Psychological: psychological distress, emotions, relationships with peers, partners and family, study difficulties, violence, alcohol and substance addictions, traumatic events
  • Gender: orientation and sexuality
  • Digital: Use and abuse of social media
  • Social: difficulties with residence life, difficult co-living in the residence, difficulties living in Italy, difficulties navigating bureaucracy and services, difficulties organising the present and planning for the future, difficulties finding the tools needed to achieve goals
  • Paperwork: Info about and assistance with local services

In addition to listening and providing assistance, ResidenzAscolta organises initiatives and workshops throughout the year dedicated to promoting student wellbeing in university residences.

ResidenzAscolta does NOT provide information on EDISU calls for applications, transfers within residences, job searches, house hunting, and does not provide healthcare or concierge services for residences.

How to access

To request an appointment, please send an email to: residenzascolta@edisu-piemonte.it

Your request will be forwarded to ResidenzAscolta's multidisciplinary team. The team will analyse your application and process it, contacting you for an initial appointment and planning the approach best suited to your needs (e.g. interviews with psychologists, psychotherapists, other specialists, etc.).
