Structure
The Residenza Lingotto was designed by architect Renzo Piano. It is part of a modern complex with many different uses. This includes the Citadel of Design and Sustainable Mobility of the Polytechnic University of Turin, the 8 Gallery shopping centre, places to stay, museum spaces, and the Agnelli Auditorium. It is in a great location, close to the city centre, the Polytechnic University headquarters, and the Molinette medical centre. The residence has shared areas, a study room, a gym, a meeting room, and double and triple rooms, some of which have kitchenettes. The residence has a modern feel to it and offers good services in a building that combines the rationalist architecture of the 1920s with the design of a famous contemporary architect.
