The European Social Found Plus (FSE+) is the European Union’s (EU) main instrument for investing in people. Through FSE+ 2021–2027, it provides a significant contribution to EU policies on employment, social inclusion, education and skills, including structural reforms in these areas.
The total financial allocation of the Regione Piemonte FSE+ Regional Programme 2021–2027 amounts to €1.318 billion, structured around the priorities of Employment, Education and Training, Social Inclusion, Youth Employment, and STEP, through ten specific objectives. Among these, Priority 2 “Education and Training” and Priority 3 “Social Inclusion” have been identified.
EDISU Piemonte participated in the implementation of Priority 2 through the allocation of scholarships for the academic years 2023/2024, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026, and also in the implementation of Priority 3 for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the programme also includes a Priority dedicated to the STEP platform (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform), aimed at supporting the enhancement of skills relevant to the development and manufacturing of critical technologies, as well as the creation of jobs consistent with these areas of intervention.
