Once again this year, EDISU Piemonte, together with the University of Turin, the Polytechnic University of Turin and the University of Eastern Piedmont and RUS food, is taking part in Green Food Week: a week promoted by the Foodinsider association during which school, university and company canteens join forces to offer sustainable menus with dishes with a lower environmental impact.
Our canteens will offer green recipes (favouring organic and local ingredients) from 5 to 9 February.
Thursday 8 February, the highlight of the event, will be a meatless day: meat and fish will be excluded from canteen dishes and animal proteins will be reduced, to further limit the pressure on the ecosystem (see attached menu).
Joining the initiative is part of achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
