The Board of Directors of EDISU Piemonte, while firmly rejecting any war, shares the message of the Piedmontese universities and expresses great concern about the dramatic conflict in Ukraine. 

Every year, the Ente per il Diritto allo Studio welcomes thousands of students from all over the world, with the aim of providing them with a high quality education to build a future of growth for all.

We therefore join the UN Secretary-General's appeal of 23 February 2022 on respect for the principles of the UN Charter, the need to establish a ceasefire and to embark on the path of dialogue and negotiation.

EDISU is already available, in collaboration with the Piedmont Region and the universities of Piedmont, to welcome students, researchers and lecturers affected by the conflict in its facilities.
