EDISU Piemonte joins the Green Food Week together with the University of Turin, the University of Piemonte Orientale, the Politecnico of Turin, the Salesian Institute and the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, under the sponsorship of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS).
The initiative promoted by the Food insider association aims to enhance and spread a low environmental impact diet with positive effects on health.
EDISU Piemonte will guarantee at all its canteens during the week of February 13-17, 2023 a vegan alternative and organic products and, in particular, on February 16, will offer a NO MEAT NO FISH menu.
In adopting a healthier diet, with a view to sustainability, university canteens play an important role not only in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but also in their educational and training function for the younger generation.
