What does it means “stay on reservation”?

Stay on reservation is a service of EDISU Piemonte that offers accommodation for guests at favorable fees in one of ESIDU halls of residence.

Which are the halls of residence offering stay on reservation?

The halls of residence offering stay on reservation are Borsellino, Olimpia, Paoli, San Liborio, Verdi, Villa Claretta (Grugliasco).

Where are located the halls of residence?

The Halls of residence are located in Turin city center close to the Athenaeums.

Who can apply for a request of accommodation?

The request of accommodation is reserved to:

  • Professors, researchers, visiting professors, research fellow, post- PhD;
  • Students attending master’s program, summer school, internship, Erasmus projects, PhD, visiting students;
  • Relatives of sleeping accommodation winner at the halls of residence;
  • Relatives of Professors, researchers, visiting professors, research fellow, post- PhD;
  • Private citizens, companies, Institutions and Associations with “Holiday Home” service.

How do I know the halls of residence availability in the interest period?

In order to know availability of halls of residence, you have to follow the online procedure. The request of reservation is not binding; EDISU could verify for any availability only after having received your formal request.

How shall I know that the request of reservation has been accepted?

In order to know if the request of reservation has been accepted you will receive a confirmation email from Foresteria service that will take charge of the request and will send the accommodation quote to your email address. If you want to accept it, you have to signed it and send it back to foresteria@edisu-piemonte.it

The accommodation reservation will be confirmed when EDISU will receive back the signed quote.

Is it possible to extend the stay?

According to the availability of the room, to extend your stay you have to:

  • If you are a student or a professor of Università di Torino, Politecnico di Torino, Accademia Albertina, Conservatory or Scuola superiore per Mediatori Linguistici or a guest of our service Holiday Home, you should send an e-mail to foresteria@edisu-piemonte.it

Foresteria service will take in charge the requests during opening times: Monday- Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Is it possible to reduce the stay?

Yes, it is possible by communicating it to foresteria@edisu-piemonte.it

Keep in mind that EDISU cannot refund the rent that you have already paid. 

What kind of documents do I need at check in time?

At your arrival, you need just an official identity document (passport, identity card or residency permit). Non-UE guests have to present a copy of residency permit or visa.
