You have selected the Who can apply? page. We remember you that the following information does not replace the content of Notices of competition and official documents regulating the EDISU service and that you can download from the website.

 

Students enrolled in the following universities and course levels can apply for scholarship and, if non-resident, for the accommodation service.

 

List of Universities

  • Universities of Piemonte
  • SSML (Higher Schools for Language Brokers);
  • Institutes of high level Art and Music and ISIA with legal headquarters in Piemonte;
  • Conservatori

List of course levels

  • Bachelor degree;
  • Single cycle master degree;
  • Master degree (D. M. 270/04);
  • PhD (D. Lgs. 210/98), for students without scholarships granted by their universities or other public or private institutions;
  • Postgraduate schools, for students without scholarships granted by their universities or other public or private institutions. 

 

Resident, commuter or non resident

You can be classified as resident, commuter or non-resident according to the travelling times on public transports between their hometown and the municipality in which the course is located (art. 4).

 

Resident student - you can only apply for the scholarship

Resident students belong to the following categories:

  • living in the same municipality where their courses are located;
  • attending telematic courses activated by universities of Piemonte;
  • students in a detention period.

These students can apply only for scholarship.

Commuter student - you can apply only for scholarship

Commuter students reside in a different municipality from the one in which their course is located, but they can reach it within 60 minutes on public transports.

These students can apply only for scholarship.

Non - resident student - you can apply for scholarship and accommodation service or scholarship only

Non - resident student - you can apply for scholarship and accommodation service or scholarship only

Non-resident students reside in a different municipality from the one in which their course is located, and they cannot reach it within 60 minutes on public transports (check art.4 of EDISU Notice of Competition 2019/20).

These students can apply for:

  • scholarship and accommodation service;
  • scholarship only.

Non-resident students who are not hosted in an EDISU hall of residence, including Extra-EU students whose families reside abroad, must declare a contract of house rental in the municipality where their courses are located (art. 8).

Otherwise, the will receive the scholarship amount for “commuter” students.
