To obtain EDISU benefits, you need the following documentation:

| A valid residence permit with the indication of international/special protection status |
| The request for the recognition of your status with a copy of the decree or the decision of the judge |
| In case of refusal of the recognition of the status, a document certifying the court appeal |
| In case of expiry, the renewal of the permit must be sent to EDISU together with the new permit as soon as it is released |
| A valid ISEE Universitario certificate which must include your name and must be calculated without annotations of omissions and/ or discrepancies |

| When applying for EDISU benefits, you don’t have to consider your family of origin |
| You must indicate that your family resides in Italy |
| In order to calculate the ISEE Universitario certificate, the family unit is composed of you and any other persons present in your official state of family. Please ask for confirmation at the Registry Office of your municipality |
